Brunswick police Wednesday, Dec. 14 7:20 a.m. — Center Road/Pearl Road; the parks department found a black TracFone on the sidewalk. There is no known owner, and the phone is locked. It was entered into evidence for safekeeping. 3:34 p.m. — 16000 block of Royalton Road; Cleveland police contacted Brunswick police to say they had Kris Byrne, 42, of Brunswick, in their custody on a failure to appear warrant out of the Medina Municipal Court. Brunswick police took custody of him and transported him to the Medina County Jail. 5:19 p.m. — Independence Drive; an officer responded to the Medina County Sheriff's Office in reference to a warrant service. Bryan Adkins, 39, of Brunswick, was served with copies of his warrants for failure to appear on an offense for driving under suspension through the Medina Municipal Court and falsification through the Brunswick Mayor's Court. 8:11 p.m. — Laurel Road/Pearl Road; a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for expired registration. The operator Kassidie Laurenti, 27, of Brunswick, was found to be in possession of marijuana and was issued citations into Brunswick Mayor's Court. Thursday, Dec. 15 12:57 p.m. — George Drive; a woman reported that she found a bike on her property in the bushes along the roadway. It is unknown how long the bike was there. It was transported to the police department, where it is being stored in the bike corral. 2:25 p.m. — 3700 block of state Route 303; one vehicle rear-ended another. 2:27 p.m. — Stone Creek Drive; a woman reported that an unknown suspect stole a check from her mailbox and attempted to cash it at a Huntington Bank branch in Brooklyn. 4:05 p.m. — North Carpenter Road/Concord Drive; one vehicle rear-ended another. 4:36 p.m. — 1000 block of Pearl Road; one vehicle rear-ended another. Friday, Dec. 16 7:28 p.m. — Independence Drive; Jeffrey Burgess, 53, of Cleveland, was incarcerated at the Medina County Jail. He has a failure to appear warrant out of Medina Municipal Court on an original charge of theft from Brunswick police. He was served while remaining in custody. Saturday, Dec. 17 7:46 a.m. — North Carpenter Road/Grafton Road; one vehicle slid into another on an icy roadway. Sunday, Dec. 18 1:19 a.m. — Laurel Road; a vehicle struck a fire hydrant, and the operator was cited for a hit-skip. 6:57 p.m. — Pearl Road/Hickory Ridge Avenue; one vehicle rear-ended another. 11:35 p.m. — 3200 block of Center Road; Nathan Williams, 32, of Blanco, Texas, was observed slouched in the driver seat of a vehicle. Contact was made with him where it was learned that he was under the influence of alcohol. He submitted to testing and was transported to the Brunswick police station. He was issued citations into Brunswick Mayor's Court for marijuana drug abuse, open container, physical control and marijuana drug paraphernalia. He was turned over to a family member and released from the scene. Monday, Dec. 19 10:38 a.m. — Hadcock Road/state Route 303; one vehicle rear-ended another. 12:27 p.m. — Robert Parkway; a man reported he had two laptops and an iPad in a briefcase in the backseat of his vehicle. He is unsure of exactly when the items were taken. The report is for documentation purposes only. Tuesday, Dec. 20 8:07 a.m. — Blossom Court; a man reported that an unknown house guest stole a gold necklace, a gold diamond ring and a Rolex watch totaling approximately $14,000 from the residence. 5:41 p.m. — 3300 block of state Route 303; one vehicle rear-ended another. Brunswick Hills police Thursday, Dec. 15 11:54 a.m. — 2300 block of Pearl Road; a small hole was found in a window of a business. After further investigation, it was determined a BB gun was used to shoot the window. Several other impacts were found on the siding near the window. Security camera footage was submitted for review. Hinckley police Wednesday, Oct. 19 5:21 p.m. — State Road; a complainant said the father of her child has been contacting her despite there being a temporary protection order. The complainant provided a written statement for documentation purposes. Wednesday, Oct. 26 7:59 p.m. — Weymouth Road/Stony Hill Road; a vehicle failed to yield at a stop sign and struck another vehicle. Sunday, Oct. 30 6:00 p.m. — Parker Road/Carr Road; a vehicle overturned and ejected both passengers from the vehicle. Thursday, Nov. 3 7:10 a.m. — Ridge Road/Center Road; one vehicle rear-ended another. 7:42 a.m. — State Road; a doe was in the roadway and lethargic, and it made no attempt to avoid the officer. The deer was dispatched. Saturday, Nov. 5 11:00 a.m. — Ridge Road; Cleveland Metroparks Police turned in a found wallet. The wallet was logged and stored for safekeeping. Sunday, Nov. 6 12:52 p.m. — Bellus Road; a woman reported a missing or endangered person. After an officer spoke with the complainant, it was determined that the missing female was most likely a runaway adult and not in immediate danger. Monday, Nov. 7 9:19 a.m. — Eastwood Road; a woman said she made arrangements with a local florist to provide flowers for her upcoming wedding and had paid her $594. On the day of her wedding, the florist never showed up with the flowers, and the complainant has not been able to make contact with the florist. The complainant provided a written statement and screenshots of communications she had with the florist. Wednesday, Nov. 23 12:24 p.m. — Hinckley Hills Road/Ridge Road; a vehicle failed to yield to oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle.
