Brunswick police Tuesday, Nov. 8 5:18 p.m. — state Route 303; one vehicle struck another while exiting a private drive. 7:07 p.m. — Sadie Lane; animal control was dispatched for an injured deer. The deer was located in the front yard of the residence. The deer had a broken leg and could not take flight. The deer was dispatched and properly removed. Wednesday, Nov. 9 1:11 a.m. — 2700 block of Boston Road; a Circle K employee contacted Brunswick police in reference to theft. An unknown suspect stole two cartons of Maverick cigarettes worth a total value of $129.57. A manager said they wished to pursue charges. 2:47 p.m. — Spyglass Hill Drive; animal control was dispatched regarding a dead raccoon in a side yard. The raccoon was still alive but very lethargic and unable to take flight. The raccoon was dispatched, and the remains were properly disposed of. 11:33 p.m. — Clearwater Drive; officers were dispatched for a report of a deer being stuck in a fence behind the residence. The doe had sustained a leg injury, was trapped in the top of the fence and could not be manually freed. The deer was dispatched, and animal control was notified of the deer's location for later removal. Thursday, Nov. 10 6:13 a.m. — Independence Drive; the Medina County Sheriff's Office contacted the Brunswick Police Department and said Taurean Goodman, 40, of Salisbury, North Carolina. Brunswick officers served him with his copy of a Brunswick Mayor's Court failure to appear warrant. The original charges were driving under suspension and no operator's license. He remained in custody of the Medina County Sheriff's Office. 3:19 p.m. — Hadcock Road; one vehicle rear-ended another. 4:25 p.m. — West Friendship Street; the Medina Police Department contacted Brunswick police because Brian Sullivan, 49, of Brunswick, was in their lobby. He had an active warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of disorderly conduct. He was then transported to the Medina County Sheriff's Office without incident. 4:44 p.m. — Grafton Road/Sandra Drive; one vehicle rear-ended another. 5:35 p.m. — Laurel Road/Pearl Road; a vehicle made an improper left turn, struck another vehicle and left the scene. 7:55 p.m. — Keller Hanna Drive; officers responded to a report of an active fight between Mark Timko, 61, of Brunswick, and Robert Crenshaw, 58, of Brunswick, over lawn maintenance. The individuals were observed in the roadside ditch still fighting upon arrival. Both parties sustained minor injuries and were cited into Brunswick Mayor's Court for disorderly conduct. Timko was also cited for criminal trespass and released on scene. Friday, Nov. 11 1:31 a.m. — 17000 block of Pearl Road; Strongsville police arrested Alex Thoms, 35, of Strongsville, on a failure to appear warrant from Brunswick police. An officer assumed custody of him on scene without incident and transported him to the Medina County Sheriff's Office jail. He was served a copy of his warrant by jail staff. 7:27 a.m. — 4100 block of Center Road; a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for expired registration. The operator, Aaron Ashley, 28, of Brunswick, was found to be in possession of marijuana and marijuana drug paraphernalia. He was issued citations into Brunswick Mayor's Court. 10:38 p.m. — Maxwell Boulevard/Center Road; a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle and the operator Trevon Bland, 23, of Cleveland, was found to have an active arrest warrant out of the Brooklyn Police Department for a failure to appear on a traffic offense. He was arrested and turned over to Brooklyn police. Saturday, Nov. 12 1:32 a.m. — Bruce Drive; one vehicle struck a parked and unoccupied vehicle. The operator was arrested for OVI. Tuesday, Nov. 15 10:01 a.m. — state Route 303 / Interstate 71; one vehicle struck another while changing lanes. Brunswick Hills police Thursday, Nov. 10 9:27 a.m. — Orchard Drive; a report was made of dogs running loose. Friday, Nov. 11 10:59 a.m. — Pearl Road/Kingsbury Road; the operator of a vehicle lost consciousness and struck a tree and mailboxes. 8:22 p.m. — Substation Road; a vehicle struck a deer.
