Evelyn M. Gibson

Evelyn M. Gibson, 84, peacefully passed away Monday, October 24, 2022. She was born August 19, 1938, to Walter and Rolla (nee Reed) McCloskey in Austin, Pennsylvania. Evelyn was the director and teacher at Hobbits Pre-School in Richfield, Ohio, as well as being a substitute teacher for elementary school. She was a member of the Granger United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading, gardening and canning. Evelyn will be missed by all who knew her. Left to celebrate Evelyn's life are her loving children, Frank (Sherri) Gibson, David (Deborah) Gibson, Steven (Cheryl) Gibson, Todd (Vicki) Gibson, Amy (John) Gibson-Waters; her cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Jessie (Levi), Travis (Kelsey), Tiffany (Jared), Jason (Megan), Rachel (Patrick), Navarre (Shelby), Katie, Keri and Cody; her adorable great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Luke, Ellie, Hank, Quinn and Emery, and many extended family and friends. Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald and her sister, Pat (David) Hunt. A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Nesbett Cemetery located on the North side of SR 57, one mile East of Grafton and a mile West of SR 83. Family will welcome friends to the Celebration of Life which will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick.
