John D. Siebert

John D. Siebert, 77, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022. He was born May 2, 1945 in Batavia, New York, to the late August and Margaret (nee Hoffman) Siebert. John had a rewarding career working in finance for Sherwin-Williams for 33 years that spanned a variety of jobs and allowed him to work and travel internationally. Outside of work, his passion was music. He played trombone in a few community bands, and he started and ran the Ashland Band Camp for a number of years. He also enjoyed car racing. John was a member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medina and was very involved with his church community. Left to cherish John's memory is his family - his wife, Susan (nee Grier); children, Craig (Andrea) and Catrine (Kevin) and grandchildren, Luke, Andrew, and Kirstin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jim. The family will welcome guests on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, 400 N. Broadway, Medina beginning at 10 a.m. A Celebration of John's Life will follow at 10:30 a.m. He will be laid to rest privately at Hope Memorial Gardens, Hinckley.
