Medina police Saturday, Sept. 10 10:46 a.m. — Public Square; a disturbance or fight occurred. 10:57 a.m. — 6500 block of Lafayette Road; a domestic verbal altercation occurred. 9:03 p.m. — Continental Drive; a husband and wife were arguing, and the wife left for the night. 9:42 p.m. — Public Square; iPod found near public restrooms. Sunday, Sept. 11 12:38 p.m. — 1000 block of North Court Street; assist with returning a lost wallet. 6:08 p.m. — Ballash Road; there is an ongoing property dispute. A male is reporting dirt that his neighbor had previously dumped near his property line. 7:04 p.m. — Medina Street/West Smith Road; a motor vehicle stop was initiated for lights. 7:53 p.m. — Hunter Drive; female arrested for domestic violence. 8:22 p.m. — West Union Street; 16-year-old left home without permission and refuses to return home. Monday, Sept. 12 4:11 a.m. — West Smith Road; two juveniles were sitting next to the road and released to a guardian. 1:51 p.m. — Gloucester Drive; questions asked referring to obtaining a restraining order. 10:38 p.m. — North Court Street/Union Street; a traffic stop was initiated for failure to use turn signal 100 feet prior to the turn. The driver was cited for license forfeiture, failure to reinstate and warned of turn signal usage. A valid driver responded to drive the car from the scene. 11:38 p.m. — West Union Street; a traffic stop was initiated for one headlight. The driver was cited with driving under a suspended license and the vehicle was towed. Medina Township police Monday, Aug. 29 10:30 a.m. — Hamilton Road/Pearl Road; a two-car crash occurred, and one car fled. 5:18 p.m. — 3400 block of Medina Road; a two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred. 5:24 p.m. — Medina Road; a two-vehicle crash with no injuries occurred. Tuesday, Aug. 30 1:24 p.m. — Stonegate Drive; a bad check was written to a business. 4:25 p.m. — River Styx Road/East Smith Road; a traffic stop was initiated for a warrant. The driver was not the registered owner but admitted to driving under a suspended license. The LEADS check indicated a felony warrant. He was placed under arrest for the warrant and transported to the Medina County Jail to be picked up by the Lorain County Sherriff's Office. Wednesday, Aug. 31 1:56 a.m. — Weymouth Road/I 71; a traffic stop was initiated for speed. The driver was impaired and was arrested for OVI. 12:47 p.m. — 3100 block of Remsen Road; a married couple were having problems. The husband said the wife made comments about hurting herself. She was upset, but okay and spoke with Alternative Paths on the phone who said they would follow up with her the following day. 1:24 p.m. — Ledgewood Drive/Pearl Road; a car hit a wheelchair, and the vehicle left the scene. The vehicle and driver were located, and a report was taken. 3:10 p.m. — Medina Road/Eastpointe Drive; a two-car crash occurred. 4:37 p.m. — 3400 block of Medina Road; a two-car crash occurred. 4:48 p.m. — Weymouth Road; a four-car crash with minor injuries happened, and one car was towed. 5:35 p.m. — Nichols Road/Wilbur Road; a two-car crash occurred. 8:30 p.m. — Medina Road/Burgundy Bay; paperwork was received regarding a school bus violation. 8:48 p.m. — Fenn Road; a motorcycle hit a deer. The motorcycle was towed by Transcounty. Thursday, Sept. 1 2:46 a.m. — Ritz Court; a boyfriend and girlfriend were fighting. 4:53 p.m. — 3800 block of Pearl Road; the manager of Serpentini Chevrolet reported a stolen car. A female financed a car but has not made the payments. The dealership has a repossession service looking for the car, but they are unable to locate it. The female forged pay stubs to get the loan, and her phone is no longer in service. Friday, Sept. 2 2:03 a.m. — Interstate 71; a vehicle was stopped for marked lanes violation and failure to obey a traffic control device. The male exhibited signs of impairment. Sobriety tests were administered, and the male was arrested for operating a vehicle impaired. He submitted a breath sample and was released on citation 5:42 p.m. — Medina Road/Interstate 71; a report was made of a wire from a traffic light striking the windshield of a truck. The complainant already filed a claim through their insurance. This report is for documentation purposes only. 6:32 p.m. — Dogleg Trail; a female reported civil issues with her ex-husband, and a statement was taken. 10:22 p.m. — Fenn Road/Weymouth Road; a Nissan and Harley Davidson crashed. Saturday, Sept. 3 12:50 p.m. — 4100 block of Pearl Road; a crash between a car and a motorcycle occurred in the Walmart parking lot. 9:15 p.m. — Debbie Drive; a report of a runaway juvenile was made.
