Brunswick Monday, July 4 3:08 a.m. — Crestway Oval; a report was made of eggs being thrown at a residence and vehicle, which caused damage. The people reporting said they believed their neighbor was the suspect. The neighbor said he was sleeping at the time and did not throw eggs at the property. 4:07 p.m. — 1400 block of South Carpenter Road; Mark Orlosky, 64, of Brunswick, was seen at the Quality Inn. He had three failure-to-appear warrants through Brunswick Mayor's Court. His original charges were open container, physical control and physical control with concentration. He was transported to the Brunswick Police Station and posted bond. Tuesday, July 5 11:26 a.m. — 3300 block of Center Road; someone dropped $1,350 in the GetGo parking lot. An employee reviewed the camera footage and saw who picked up the cash. Contact was made with him, and he returned the money. 7:52 p.m. — Center Road/Parschen Parkway; a random license plate check showed the owner, Nicole Worthey, 46, of Cleveland had an active warrant out of the Solon Police Department for larceny. She was taken into custody and turned over to the Solon Police Department without incident. 8:04 p.m. — Grafton Road/Pearl Road; one vehicle rear-ended another. 8:38 p.m. — 3000 block of Center Road; a wallet was turned in after being found at the Shell Gas Station. Attempts to contact the owner of the wallet have been unsuccessful. Wednesday, July 6 8:16 p.m. — Kent Drive/Center Road; a wallet that was found in a wooded area was turned in to the Brunswick Police Department. The owner of the wallet has an active warrant for his arrest from Brunswick police for failure to appear on a traffic offense. Attempts to contact the owner of the wallet have been unsuccessful. Thursday, July 7 1:43 a.m. — interstate Route 71/Center Road; a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for expired registration. The operator, Rayshawn Adkins, 29, of Maple Heights, was found to have a suspended license and was in possession of marijuana. He was issued citations into Brunswick Mayor's Court and released. 3:04 p.m. — Grafton Road/West 130 Street; the Brunswick Service Department dropped off an abandoned, green and yellow Mongoose bike that was found in a ditch. The bike was placed in the bike corral. Friday, July 8 2:58 a.m. — 60 block of Pearl Road; officers responded to Manzo's Bar for a report of an intoxicated female causing a disturbance. Stacey Marotta, 47, of Brunswick, was located in the parking lot and was acting belligerent toward officers on scene. The complainants said that she threatened them and refused to leave the business. She was issued a summons for obstructing official business and a citation for disorderly conduct. She was transported to her residence and released without further incident. 7:09 a.m. — 3600 block of Center Road; a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for expired registration. The operator, Jesse Melcher, 26, of Parma, was found to be in possession of marijuana and was issued citations into Brunswick Mayor's Court. 1:54 p.m. — 3600 block of Center Road; officers responded to the area for a report of a reckless operator of a white truck. The operator Anthony Hurt, 33, of Cleveland, was later cited and released on scene for an open container of alcohol which was in plain view in his vehicle. He did not show any impairment during standardized field sobriety tests. 5:17 p.m. — Southwick Boulevard; a woman reported an unknown person used her Social Security number. She stated she went to apply for a concealed handgun license and was informed she has two active warrants attached to her Social Security number. She is unaware of any suspects at this time but stated her identity was previously stolen in 2008. 11:42 p.m. — Meadowbrook Boulevard/Center Road; a traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle driving without lights on. When speaking to the operator, Andrea Salazar, 20, of Brunswick, officers smelled marijuana. She was found to be in possession of marijuana, marijuana drug paraphernalia and an open container of alcohol. She was issued citations into Brunswick Mayor's Court and released. Saturday, July 9 10:57 a.m. — Lockmoor Lane; a man reported that the light post in his front yard was knocked over and damaged sometime overnight. There were no known suspects, and he was unsure of the cost of damage. 12:06 p.m. — 4000 block of Center Road; a black cell phone was found in the parking lot of the Brunswick Southwest Hospital. Sunday, July 10 2:15 a.m. — 3200 block of Center Road; a vehicle was going 61 mph in a 35-mph zone, so a traffic stop was initiated. The operator of the vehicle, Sarah Spangler, 24, of North, Pennsylvania, showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody of the Brunswick police. She was issued citations into Brunswick Mayor's Court for speed and OVI. Further charges are pending upon results becoming available from the Intoxlyzer device. Monday, July 11 9:46 a.m. — Sherbrooke Oval; animal control responded to this address regarding an injured fawn. The fawn had no use of its rear legs and was dragging itself around with its front elbows. The fawn could not take flight from fright or care for itself. The fawn was dispatched, and the remains were properly disposed of. 10:03 a.m. — state Route 303; a dealer car on a test drive struck another vehicle while exiting a business. 4:47 p.m. — Independence Drive; the Medina County Jail advised that they were in custody of Michael Zielaskiewicz and that he had an active Brunswick Mayor's Court failure to appear warrant. The original charge was an OVI. Brunswick officers arrested him on the warrant, and he remained in the custody of the jail. 10:33 p.m. — Center Road/North Carpenter Road; a traffic stop was attempted on a motorcycle with no license plate. The vehicle failed to yield and traveled westbound on Center Road at a high rate of speed. The pursuit was terminated on Center Road near Station Road in Valley City. The suspect was wearing a white helmet, black shirt and camouflage shorts. The motorcycle had a LED ground effect lighting kit on the bottom of it. Brunswick Hills Saturday, July 2 1:17 p.m. — Marks Road; one vehicle struck another while turning left. Sunday, July 3 12:12 a.m. — Pearl Road/Chestnut Avenue; officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. 2:11 p.m. — Seasons Pass Drive; officers were dispatched in reference to a DOA. Monday, July 4 10:35 a.m. — Preston Place; officers responded to a complaint of damage to a house from fireworks. An investigation is pending. Wednesday, July 6 2:01 p.m. — 5200 block of Grafton Road; officers were dispatched in reference to a theft from a vehicle. 10:19 p.m. — Center Road/Marks Road; a vehicle struck a deer. Friday, July 8 6:37 a.m. — Cheyney Lane; a male was bit by a dog on his left calf. An investigation is pending. Sunday, July 10 10:30 a.m. — East Arbor Lane; officers responded for a lost or stolen license plate. 10:35 p.m. — Forestland Court; officers responded in reference to a disturbance. An investigation is pending. Hinckley Thursday, June 9 12:58 p.m. — Jeanne Drive; a woman reported $50,100 was fraudulently removed from her account. Friday, June 17 10:20 p.m. — Ridge Road/Center Road; one vehicle struck another while turning left. Saturday, June 18 7:16 p.m. — Stony Hill Road/Mattingly Road; a woman was placed under arrest for the suspicion of OVI. Sunday, June 19 9:03 p.m. — River Road; a victim of domestic violence came to a residence asking the owner to call the police. The woman had been grabbed and dragged around by her husband. The husband was placed under arrest and transported to the Medina County Sherriff's Office. Wednesday, June 22 6:39 a.m. — 2600 block of Center Road; a two-vehicle crash happened on private property. 3:44 p.m. — 400 block of West 130 Street; a man reported his 2013 blue Mini Cooper was struck in the rear bumper in the parking lot of Pine Hills Golf. Thursday, June 23 8:53 p.m. — 1600 block of West 130 Street; a man was operating a vehicle under a suspended license and had an active warrant out of the Brunswick Police Department. He was taken into the custody of Brunswick Police. Sunday, June 26 4:11 p.m. — Center Road/Kuder Road; a vehicle drove off the right side of the road and struck a ditch, a large rock, jumped a driveway and hit another large rock before coming to rest. Monday, June 27 4:50 p.m. — Laurel Road/West 130 Street; one vehicle struck another in the rear driver's side. Friday, July 1 8:23 a.m. — Hinckley Hills Road; golf balls from a neighboring range struck a motorcycle.
