Elizabeth 'Libby' Chodkiewicz

Elizabeth 'Libby' Chodkiewicz, 77, of Brunswick, peacefully passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She was born February 6, 1945, to the late Peter and Clara (nee Calcioli) Markusic in Britz, West Virginia. Libby held many roles at St. Ambrose Church, including FIAT (Faith In Action Team) and serving Sunday community meals. She enjoyed gambling at casinos and EZ Win in Medina, where Peggy and many other friends gathered. Above all, she loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her. Left to celebrate Libby is the love of her life, James Chodkiewicz; her loving children, Denise Chodkiewicz, Theresa (Darrel) Porch, Jimmy Chodkiewicz, Tammy Perry, and Tony (Lisa) Chodkiewicz; her cherished grandchildren, Jennifer (Charlie), Ryan, Jeff (Erin), Alicia, Tony (Nikki), Brandon (Jade), Rachel (Chad), Shannon (Alex), and Darrell (Jasmine); her adorable great-grandchildren, Amy (Cameron), Ashley (Lindsey), Alissa, Alexis, Xavier, Aiden and Liam; her great-great-grandson, Bentley; her sister, Dee (Bob) Denk; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy (Tony) Pytel and her brother, Bud (Patti) Markusic. The family will welcome visitors on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, where Livestream will be available for the Mass. Private interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park.
