Dorothy M. Sprosty

Dorothy M. Sprosty, 87, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022 in Medina, surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born June 7, 1935 in Cleveland, to the late Earl E. and Florence (Montville) Hale. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Dorothy was a woman of deep faith. She was the loving matriarch of the Sprosty family and all gatherings centered around her. A fabulous homemaker, cook, her gatherings were legendary in the family. In her house, food was love. She also enjoyed collecting Salt and Pepper shakers, which grew to be quite a collection. She is survived by her beloved children, Charles (Theresa) Sprosty, Diana (Vincent) Hunter, Ronald (Mickey) Sprosty, Deborah (Jeff) Burrows; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, Janet Clark, Bob Hale, Steven Hale and a lifetime of collected friends. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sr.; parents and siblings, Buddy, Vivian and Cathy. The family is holding private arrangements.
