Brunswick Wednesday, May 25 7:41 a.m. — 3500 block of Center Road; Blaine Rick, 19, of North Royalton, had multiple warrants out of the Brunswick Mayor's Court. He was transported to Medina County Jail without incident. 10:18 a.m. — Bennett Road; officers responded to the North Royalton jail to take Candice Holcepl, 25, of Middleburg Heights, into custody for a failure-to-appear warrant out of Brunswick Mayor's Court. The original charge was for falsification. Holcepl was unable to post bond and was taken to Medina County Jail. 4:52 p.m. — Grafton Road; one vehicle rear-ended another. 8:39 p.m. — Laurel Road; a vehicle struck a deer. Thursday, May 26 6:45 p.m. — Chelsea Drive; report of a missing license plate from a vehicle. Friday, May 27 12:58 a.m. — 1200 block of Pearl Road; officers responded to Christie's Cabaret in reference to a disturbance complaint. Mason Frary, 27, of Brunswick, was intoxicated and found to have been in an altercation with staff prior to police arrival. He was issued a misdemeanor citation for disorderly conduct through Brunswick Mayor's Court and released at his residence. 1:50 p.m. — Grafton Road; one vehicle rear-ended another. Saturday, May 28 1:38 a.m. — Revere Court; Ionut Zaharia, 40, of Brunswick, was visibly intoxicated. He was attempting to retrieve a vehicle from his wife. He was uncooperative and was arrested for disorderly conduct. After continuing the investigation, officers discovered he drove a vehicle with his 15-year-old son inside to the residence. Zaharia refused to participate in parts of the booking process and was charged through Medina Municipal Court with OVI, OVI refusal, child endangering, obstructing official business and disorderly conduct. 4:01 p.m. — state Route 303; one vehicle rear-ended another. 7:22 p.m. — 3400 block of Center Road; a ring was turned in that was found in the parking lot of Giant Eagle. Sunday, May 29 10:34 a.m. — Aylesworth Drive; a woman alleges she was part of an online scam involving Facebook Marketplace where she lost $300. The scammer persuaded her to send them the money using Zelle. She reported it as fraud to her bank but was told the money was lost since she authorized the transaction. 11:22 a.m. — South Carpenter Road/state Route 303; one vehicle struck another while making a left turn and failed to stop after the crash. 9:23 p.m. — 3100 block of Center Road; Aryan Barnes, 37, of Brunswick, was found stumbling while walking and was intoxicated. He had two bench warrants with the Brunswick Police and was transported to Medina County Jail. He was also issued a citation for disorderly conduct into Brunswick Mayor's Court. Monday, May 30 3:32 p.m. — one vehicle rear-ended another. Brunswick Hills Sunday, May 29 9:55 a.m. — Hollyhock Lane; a man came into the Brunswick Police Station in reference to a complaint of criminal mischief at his house. 1:54 p.m. — 4000 block of Boston Road; a woman came into the Brunswick Police Station in reference to a possible protection order violation and civil matter.
