David Horvath

David Horvath, 60, of North Royalton, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022. Dave was born March 27, 1962, to parents Stephen and Elizabeth Horvath in Parma. He graduated from North Royalton High School in 1980 and received his nursing diploma from the Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital School of Nursing in 1986. Dave loved spending time with his friends and family, animals, watching movies and exploring nature. He was a certified scuba diver and completed dives all over the Caribbean. Dave loved practical jokes and was always looking for opportunities to scare or prank his friends and family. He was always willing to lend a hand when someone needed help fixing their car or repairing their home. Dave worked in multiple industries in his lifetime including nursing, operating small businesses for both small engine repair as an owner and pet boarding as a co-owner, electrical repair and event planning. Dave will be deeply missed and is survived by his sons, Christopher Horvath and Brandon Horvath; brother, Stephen (Carol) Horvath: nephews, Brian (Melissa) Horvath and Jason Horvath; many friends and extended family. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen L. Horvath and Elizabeth (Behnke) Horvath; his uncle, James Horvath and grandparents. A private burial was held Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery, Valley City. Please join the family for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Parish Pavilion and Hall of St Martin of Tours, 1800 Station Road, Valley City.
