Brunswick Police Monday, May 2 1:55 p.m. — State Route 303; one vehicle rear-ended another and propelled into a third vehicle. Tuesday, May 3 12:11 a.m. — Richie Drive/Grafton Road; Noah Davis, 21, of Brunswick, was pulled over. A smell of marijuana came from the vehicle and marijuana cigarettes were located. He was issued citations into Brunswick Mayor's Court and released. Wednesday, May 4 3:30 p.m. — 800 block of West Superior; Justin Smith, 21, of Brunswick, was in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service on an active warrant through the Brunswick City Mayor's Court. He was transported to the Brunswick Mayor's Court and provided a later court date. He was found to have active failure-to-appear traffic warrants through the Parma and Brooklyn police departments. He was turned over to the Brooklyn Police Department. 3:42 p.m. — Grafton Road/U.S. 42; one vehicle rear-ended another. 3:50 p.m. — Laurel Road/ U.S. 42; one vehicle rear-ended another. 5:57 p.m. — 1200 block of Hadcock Road; Kyle Brocklebank, 51, of Brunswick, was found sitting in front of the 1200 block of Hadcock Road after the police received complaints that he was falling while walking. He was found to be highly intoxicated and was issued a citation for disorderly conduct and was transported to the Brunswick Cleveland Clinic for a medical evaluation. 8:50 p.m. — Clearbrooke Drive; Robert Strelau, 67, of Medina, committed a moving violation and a traffic stop was initiated. He admitted to using prescription medication and marijuana beforehand. He had slurred speech and was unable to maintain balance while standing. He was arrested for OVI and contraband in his vehicle. He was transported to the Brunswick Police Department, where he provided a urine sample and he was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. He was issued citations with additional changes pending for a grand jury. Thursday, May 5 12:28 a.m. — 3600 block of Center Road; Rodolfo Rosales-Martinez, 38, of West Salem, had a traffic stop conducted for speeding and was found to be in possession of an opened alcoholic beverage. He was issued citations. 3:12 a.m. — 4400 block of Laurel Road; officers responded to a noise complaint. 3:07 p.m. — Grafton Road; one vehicle rear-ended another. 5:13 p.m. — Ruth Drive; animal control was dispatched for a racoon. Friday, May 6 3:48 p.m. — Hadcock Road/Grafton Road; one vehicle struck another in the front driver side. Saturday, May 7 10:43 p.m. — 3800 block of Center Road; officers responded to a call from Domino's Pizza for a welfare check. Thomas Denk, 45, of South Euclid, was found heavily intoxicated in the passenger seat of a vehicle. He refused to provide identification and refused to exit the vehicle. Police had to forcefully remove him from the vehicle and detain him in handcuffs. He was cited into Brunswick Mayor's Court for disorderly conduct and obstructing official business. Sunday, May 8 3:16 a.m. — Cross Creek Drive/Turnbridge Court; a vehicle drove off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. The operator of the vehicle left the scene on foot and was located at his residence. He was issued citations. 11:47 a.m. — Ashleigh Drive; one vehicle struck another while backing out of a driveway. Monday, May 9 5:51 p.m. — Center Road/North Carpenter Road; a motorcycle was observed operating without a license plate and a traffic stop was attempted. The motorcycle accelerated at a high rate of speed and eluded officers. The suspect was not identified. 4:10 p.m. — Brunswick Lake Parkway; Eric Flanigan, 49, of Brunswick, was found to have an active warrant for his arrest through the Medina County Sheriff's Office for two counts of grand theft. He was arrested and was taken into the care of the Medina County Sheriff's Office. 7:04 p.m. — Center Road/Hadcock Road; officers responded to a 7-year-old running down Center Road with no shoes on. The girl's aunt contacted the police and stated that her niece hopped out of the window because she was placed in timeout. 8:26 p.m. — Grand Lake Drive; a woman contacted the Brunswick Police stating her daughter made threats to harm the family with a knife. She stated the daughter threatened to cut her throat with a butcher knife. Brunswick Hills Police Tuesday, May 3 11:05 a.m. — Roxanne Lane; police received a complaint regarding a stolen check that was later cashed. 12:17 p.m. — 5200 block of Grafton Road; Rhiannon Hennessy, 27, of Brunswick, went missing April 23. The investigation continues. Wednesday, May 4 12:15 p.m. — 5200 block of Grafton Road; a complaint of fraud was filed to the police department. 12:17 p.m. — Marks Road/Cheyney Lane; one vehicle rear-ended another and a third vehicle was struck as a result. 6:41 p.m. — Grafton Road/Marks Road; one vehicle failed to yield at a stop sign and struck another vehicle; the party responsible for the crash on Marks and Grafton roads was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Thursday, May 5 1:26 p.m. — Center Road/Substation Road; one vehicle rear-ended another which resulted in a third vehicle being struck. Friday, May 6 2:14 p.m. — Redford Drive; report of identity theft. Saturday, May 7 3:34 p.m. — Substation Road/Grafton Road; one vehicle struck another on the left side. Sunday, May 8 7:51 a.m. — Interstate 71; three deer ran out in the middle of the interstate and a vehicle struck them. 10:21 a.m. — 2000 block of Substation Road; police responded to Willow Lake Campground in response to an unwanted guest and the subject left the property without incident. Monday, May 9 12:23 p.m. — Marks Road/Innovation Drive; a vehicle was struck on top by falling power lines.
