William Thomas Ford

William Thomas Ford passed away July 24, 2021. William and his family were residents of Medina County for 20 years. He served honorably in the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1946. He retired from his career at River Terminal Railroad in 1983. He had many friends who enjoyed his company, as he enjoyed theirs. William had a wonderful sense of humor, that could sneak up on you and leave you laughing out loud. He had a lovely approach to life with a warm and generous spirit that made everyone around him feel special. He was a magical friend that illuminated the universe and enriched our lives. He gave us a lifetime of memories only he could create and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Wilma of 71 years; four children, Douglas Ford, Wanda Gail Header, Roger Ford (deceased) and Penny Day; was the loving grandfather to 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, on May 16, 2022 at 1 p.m.
