Brunswick's Fair Trade Supply Company open for business

BRUNSWICK — Longtime Brunswick resident Caroline Levandusky is the owner of a new store in her hometown – Fair Trade Supply Company. "I wanted to open the store because Brunswick is the town I grew up in and I would really like to support my community," Levandusky said. Fair Trade, which promises "Great Products at Fair Prices" according to its website, opened around the week after Thanksgiving after many renovations to their location on 734 Pearl Road. Levandusky, a first-time business owner, brings a creative flair to Fair Trade. Previously, Caroline worked at American Greetings and helped design many of their showrooms. As a result, the shopping experience at Fair Trade is eclectic and always interesting. Also, she secures her stock from a variety of different stores, "I get all of my stuff in truck loads, and you never know what's coming next," she explained. Fair Trade started when Levandusky's twin boys graduated in 2020. "It was a hard year and I didn't really know what to do with my time so I started to create Fair Trade", she said with a smile.
