Victoria 'Baba' Tomascin

Victoria 'Baba' Tomascin went home to be with the Lord and her beloved husband, Andy, on March 25, 2022 at the age of 97. Vickie was born February 3, 1925 and lived in Firestone Park for 94 years. After graduating from Garfield High School, where she was Head Majorette, Vickie became Manager of Acme #41 at the age of 18. From there, she worked at Thomas Super Market, Mitch's Lounge, Sons of Herman, Polsky's and O'Neil's. She knew all her customers by name and always brought smiles to their faces. Vickie loved to travel to Florida, Arizona, California, Las Vegas, Seattle and to Europe visiting Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Paris. Vickie's radiant smile came from her loving, generous heart. Her fun spirit and and sense of humor, especially her jokes, made you laugh and drew you into her magnetic personality. She had an abundance of love that overflowed to her family and friends. Vickie taught us all to laugh, be strong and look at all the positives. Vickie would want us all to Celebrate her memory with Joy. Vickie is now united with her beloved husband Andy; parents, Nicholas and Gika Chicodreff; brother, Carl Chicodreff and sister and brother-in-law, Frances and George Petroff. She will be truly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Ken Woodruff and her devoted son, Andrew Tomascin. She was an Amazing Baba to her pride and joy granddaughters and their husbands, Nicole and Michael Terrell, Melissa and Josh Pyatt, and Tracey and Rick Krepps. She truly loved being a Great-Baba to her most cherished great-grandchildren, Caelum, Cambren, Caegen and Cadence Terrell, Logan and Vivienne Pyatt and Carson Krepps. She will be truly missed by all her nieces and nephews and friends in Firestone Park. We would like to thank Shenine Bell and ProMedica Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation, and Heartland Home & Hospice Care for their dedicated, compassionate and loving care they gave to Vickie. As per Vickie's wishes, cremation has taken place. She will be buried next to her beloved husband Andy at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date. Children have always been important to Vickie. Donations can be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
