Doyle Ross

Doyle Ross, 82, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022. He was born June 20, 1939 in Akron, to George and Eva (Mullins) Ross. After graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1957, he joined the Army Reserves. He started working at BF Goodrich Research Center in Brecksville and finally retired after 49 years. While there, he met and married Sandra Valentine and they spent 62 years together. Doyle enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling and beach vacations. He was a kind, humble, faithful, and loving man who was in turn loved by so many. He attended Remsen Christian Church. Doyle is survived by his wife, Sandra; sister, Joyce Wilkinson of Cuyahoga Falls, along with many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom of Virginia and nephew, Ross Allen Wilkinson. A Celebration of Life for Doyle will be announced at a later date.
