Ralph C. Butcher

Ralph C. Butcher, 94, of Litchfield, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 in Brunswick. He was born March 3, 1927 in Widen, West Virginia. Mr. Butcher retired from General Motors after a 32 year career and was a proud U.S. Army Veteran serving as a SSgt. during WWII. Ralph enjoyed traveling the Country with his wife, Edra and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a longtime member of Litchfield Baptist Church as well as First Baptist Church in Medina. Survivors include son, Arthur (Sue) Butcher of Litchfield; daughters, Joyce (John) Williams of Litchfield and Debra (Bill) Kessler of Atlanta, Georgia; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Edra V. Butcher. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N.
