Wadsworth Police Thursday, Oct. 28 12:49 p.m. — 200 block of East Bergey Street; a resident reported a package being stolen from their porch. 3:22 p.m. — 1000 block of Seville Road; a business's banking information was used on a fraudulent check. The matter is under investigation. Friday, Oct. 29 8:34 a.m. — 300 block of Third Street; police responded to a reported domestic dispute. 3:39 p.m. — 120 Maple Street; a warrant for Alycia E. Wagner was issued by the Wadsworth Municipal Court for failure to appear for arraignment on a display of license plates charge. 4:17 p.m. — 120 Maple Street; a warrant for Dan Altomare II was issued by the Wadsworth Municipal Court for failure to appear for a contempt hearing on an obstructing official business charge. 9:58 p.m. — 200 block of East Smokerise Drive; Zachary J. Riter, 27, of Barberton, was arrested for assault following a reported fight in the Walmart parking lot. Saturday, Oct. 30 12:38 a.m. — Reimer Road; Michael A. Lupica, 32, of Medina, was arrested for OVI following a traffic stop. 2:21 a.m. — 400 block of College Street; suspected narcotics were located in a vehicle during a traffic stop. Charges are pending lab analysis. 11:34 a.m. — 700 block of Robin Drive; residents at two homes reported power tools being stolen from sheds on their property. There are no suspects at this time. 2:45 p.m. — 900 block of Clark Road; a resident reported being scammed out of roughly $1,000. The matter is under investigation. 10:31 p.m. — 9000 block of Mennonite Road; officers assisted the Medina County Sheriff's Office at the scene of a crash. Sunday, Oct. 31 1 a.m. — Akron Road; Justin L. French, 33, of Wadsworth, was arrested for OVI following a traffic stop. 3:46 a.m. — 200 block of East Smokerise Drive; police investigated a reported theft at Walmart. 2:16 p.m. — 300 block of Broad Street; an elderly male resident was found to be deceased after a report of him being unresponsive. 4:50 p.m. — Interstate 76; David A. Hall, 31, of Chippewa Lake, was arrested for OVI following a traffic stop. Monday, Nov. 1 7:28 a.m. — 200 block of East Smokerise Drive; Joshua D. Born, 41, of Wadsworth, was charged with theft after a reported incident at Walmart. Lodi Police Monday, Oct. 25 7:12 p.m. — Wooster Street; Timothy Nicholson, 43, of Lodi, turned himself in to Wadsworth police days after a reported domestic violence incident where he had fled the scene. Tuesday, Oct. 26 1:27 p.m. — Bank Street; a man was taken for a mental health evaluation after a request for a welfare check. Wednesday, Oct. 27 8:03 a.m. — Gaylord Street; a motorist reportedly ran over a street sign and fled the scene. The matter is under investigation. 11:05 a.m. — A resident reported being the victim of a gift card scam. The matter is being investigated.
