John J. Fetzer

John J. Fetzer, 100, went to Heaven to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. He was born August 5, 1921 in Cleveland to Christian and Margaret Fetzer. He lived most of his life in Medina. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945. He had his own construction company for 40 years. He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Medina. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, the mother of their three children; his second wife, Arlene; seven sisters; seven brothers and a sister and brother-in-law. Surviving are his three children, Karen Schmidt (Max), Kristina and Mark (Linda); seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Medina A.C. Church at 3548 Good R., Seville. John was laid to rest with his wife, Jean at St. Francis cemetery.
