Wadsworth Police Tuesday, Oct. 12 3:29 p.m. — 120 Maple Street; a warrant for David L. Yoakem was issued by the Wadsworth Municipal Court for failure to appear for jury trial on a falsification charge. Wednesday, Oct. 13 7:22 p.m. — 500 block of Great Oaks Trail; officers took a report of theft of prescription medication. Thursday, Oct. 14 12:23 a.m. — 1000 block of Akron Road; suspected narcotics were located in a vehicle following a traffic stop. Charges are pending lab analysis. 12:37 p.m. — 600 block of High Street; a possible breaking and entering incident was reported to police and is now being investigated. 5:59 p.m. — 200 block of Third Street; a burglary was reported and is now under investigation. Friday, Oct. 15 11:09 p.m. — 200 block of East Smokerise Drive; Brianna Aliers, 27, of Akron, was issued a summons for theft following an incident at Walmart. 11:42 p.m. — 700 block of Ambassador Drive; officers responded to a report of counterfeit money being used at a business. 11:56 p.m. — College Street; Melissa Metzger, 29, of Elyria, was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop. Saturday, Oct. 16 9:46 p.m. — Silvercreek Road; Travis A. Burdette, 25, of Norton, was arrested for OVI following a traffic stop. 10:34 p.m. — 200 block of East Smokerise Drive; Samantha Haskins, 39, of Barberton, was issued a summons for theft after an incident at Walmart. Sunday, Oct. 17 1:55 a.m. — Akron Road; David J. Fanz, 57, of Cuyahoga Falls, was arrested for OVI following a traffic stop. Monday, Oct. 18 10:44 a.m. — 800 block of High Street; Serena D. Starcher, was arrested on a receiving stolen property warrant out of Akron. Further charges are pending against another subject. 7:13 p.m. — 300 block of Leatherman Road; Alfred Talmadge, 40, of Akron, was arrested on a felony motor vehicle theft warrant out of Barberton. Tuesday, Oct. 19 10:29 a.m. — 1000 block of High Street; a possible breaking and entering incident was reported to police.
