Sara Ann Eggleston

Sara Ann Eggleston, 76, peacefully passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021. She was born November 24, 1944, to Ralph and Bernice (nee Hoffman) Carmany in Youngstown, Ohio. Sara earned her BA from Malone College and her MA from Kent State University in Education. She was a longtime member of New Life Wesleyan Church in Columbia Station. She has served as a pianist in the gospel singing group, 'The Angelaires,' in Lancaster, Ohio. Sara taught business education at Lancaster High School and Polaris Joint Vocational School. She enjoyed scrapbooking and other crafts. Sara shared her unwavering faith in God with everyone, especially her family. Above all, Sara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling with her husband and family, especially going on cruises. Sara will be greatly missed by her entire family and friends. Left to celebrate Sara's life is her beloved husband, Thomas; her loving daughter, Michelle (Scott) Amann; her cherished grandchildren, Dakotah, Blake and Cole; brother, Jim (Wanda) Carmany; niece and nephews, Cherie (Kyle), Bill (Denise), Paul (Katy) and Joe and many extended family and friends. Family will welcome friends Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick. A service will be held Monday, October 11, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at New Life Wesleyan Church, 11149 W. River Rd., Columbia Station with interment to follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
