Coupon Queen: Items you can grab for free from the store

Did you know that there are at least a couple items almost every week you can pick up for free at a store near you? Some deals come around more often than others, so when I can get something for free, I stock up to hold me over until the next time. This is a great way to stay within your grocery budget. Here are four things you can regularly get free with coupons. Hair care If you aren't brand loyal, you can find yourself with quite a stock of shampoo, conditioner and hair care products. These often go on sale at most drug stores and offer a money-back when you purchase a specific amount. Pair this with coupons in most weekly newspapers, as an online printable or as a digital coupon and you'll score significant savings. Toothpaste There are so many brands and varieties to choose from, but for me, my favorite brand is the one I got for free! Thankfully with coupons, you don't have to stick with just one brand or type. Just about every week, there are not only toothpaste coupons in the weekend newspaper, but toothpaste sales, too. Pair these sales with coupons, and you have a deal. Toothbrushes We may run out of milk from time to time, but I don't think we've ever run out of toothbrushes. These often go on sale for $1 or $2, and when you pair the same value coupon, you've got a freebie. Oral-B is a brand I can regularly get for free. Candy This is always a "sweet" deal to grab. We aren't big candy eaters in our home, but I like treats around for special occasions. We use these small candies for sleepovers, movies nights at home and during the holidays. Keep your eyes peeled for free-after-reward deals at places such as Walgreens and CVS. Even if you don't use coupons regularly, you can still snag these freebies. Grab your weekend newspaper and cut out any of the coupons mentioned above. Organize your coupons in five separate envelopes and look at the weekly ads.
