Missing Medina Township woman located

MEDINA TWP. — A nearly monthlong search for Jane Milota has ended after the missing Medina Township woman was located. According to a news release from Medina Township Police, Milota, 53, was "located and she is safe." "She confirmed that she left on her own accord," interim police Chief Todd Zieja said. "We are asking you to respect the privacy of the family at this time." Police also said there will be no further information released on the matter. Milota had last been seen around 6:45 a.m. Monday, Aug. 9, while dropping her son off at Westfield Inn, 6789 Greenwich Road, Westfield Center, according to police. She had been scheduled to work a shift at Arby's, 5081 Eastpointe Drive, Medina, the morning of her disappearance after dropping off her son but didn't show up or contact the business, police said. "The Medina Township Police Department would like to extend their thanks to the many local, state and federal agencies for their assistance in this matter," Zieja said in the release.
