Still no update in search for Medina Township woman

MEDINA TWP. — Jane Milota, of Medina Township, has been missing for two week, and clues as to her whereabouts have yet to arise, according to investigators. Milota, 53, was last seen around 6:45 a.m. Monday, Aug. 9, while dropping her son off at Westfield Inn, 6789 Greenwich Road, Westfield Center, according to Medina Township police. Medina Township police Chief Todd Zieja said Sunday his officers still await case leads. "Sadly, it's still been nothing," he said. "I know (officers) have remained in contact with the family but there's just been nothing. No sightings of the car or anything." Investigators say no sign of foul play has been discovered nor any apparent motive for Milota to leave the area. Milota was scheduled to work a shift at Arby's, 5081 Eastpointe Drive, Medina, the morning of her disappearance after dropping off her son but didn't show up or contact the business, police said. She drives a brown Buick Enclave carrying the license plate HCA7418. Police said Milota was not carrying a cellphone when last seen and has not made any purchases that would allow her to be tracked.
