Steven John Blasko

Steven John Blasko, 81, of St Augustine, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home Monday, August 2, 2021 with his sons, Jim and Dan at his side. A special thank you to Barbara Blasko for selflessly caring for Steven throughout his battle with lung cancer during the pandemic. Steven was born June 24, 1940 in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Florida for 14 years coming from Medina. Steven worked at the Ford Motor Company in Brook Park as a machinist. Mr. Blasko was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Kathleen in 2014; son, David in 2006 and sisters, Mary and Marjory. Survivors include his two sons, Dr. James S. (Barbara) Blasko of Blackshear, Georgia and Daniel S. (Anna) Blasko of Kent, Ohio; four grandchildren, Christian, Nicholas, David and Eve Blasko and many nieces and nephews.Steven's request was that there be no formal visitation and that his ashes be laid with his wife, Kathleen at St Anastasia Catholic Church, St. Augustine, Florida. Steven loved the neighbors in Ohio, the camping trips, fishing trips, golf outings, cooking with family, time spent with family and friends. Steve's request was for you to give your family a big hug and let them know how much you love them. God bless you.
