Sheriff's reports Saturday, June 12 4:01 p.m. — 575 Center St., Seville; vehicle was pulled over for a moving violation. Individual consented to a search of the vehicle where two large containers of what is believed to be hashish in a liquid concentrate form was found. The individual admitted to trafficking the hashish from Ohio to Indiana. He was released from the scene. Charges are pending when test results come back from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Wednesday, July 7 6:07 p.m. — 2400 block Twelve Oaks Circle, Granger Township; dog got loose and bit a man. Ronald Fuller, 65, same address, charged with failure to confine the dog. Thursday, July 8 1:52 a.m. — 8834 Lake Road, Westfield Township; Duane Parson, 55, Lansing, Michigan, charged with leaving the scene of an accident at Truckstops of America. 3:49 p.m. — 8834 Lake Road, Westfield Township; man was seen rolling a marijuana cigarette at Truckstops of America. The driver was located and the cigarette was confiscated. Saturday, July 10 2:04 a.m. — 879 Medina Road, Granger Township; deputies were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress. Mitchell Messer, 28, 4100 block Beach Road, Medina, was charged with criminal trespassing and transported home. 7:23 p.m. — 600 block Columbia Road, Liverpool Township; deputies and EMS responded to a residence for a 62-year-old man who was deceased. Sunday, July 11 3:11 a.m. — 8924 Lake Road, Westfield Township; James Howell, 43, 6700 block Lafayette Road, Medina, charged with failure to reinstate license, driving under OVI suspension, having an open container of alcohol and having physical control of a vehicle while under the influence at Pilot Lake Road. 7:29 a.m. — 6794 Avon Lake Road, Chatham Township; man's camper was towed to an undisclosed location by his stepdaughter from Chatham Lakes Campground. She wouldn't tell him where it was. A stolen vehicle report was made and the camper was entered into LEADS as stolen. 1:17 p.m. — 5800 bock Buffham Road, Westfield Township; man reported he had two shotguns and two handguns stolen from his residence. He believes his son to be the suspect. Monday, July 12 10:12 a.m. — 38 Medina Line Road, Sharon Township; Discount Drug Mart employee was "quick changed" by a customer. 2:36 p.m. — 2100 block Wall Road, Wadsworth Township; a man reported his brother had been scammed out of several thousands of dollars. A report was made to Adult Protective Services. 4:11 p.m. — 6100 block River Corners Road, Spencer Township; a report of identity fraud was made. Tuesday, July 13 6:27 p.m. — 10100 block Avon Lake Road, Harrisville Township; a report was made for someone who had overdosed at a place of business. When deputies arrived, EMS had already taken the patient to the hospital. Contraband was found in the vehicle and sent to BCI. Possible charges are pending. Friday, July 16 9:44 p.m. — 8600 block Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth Township; a catalytic converter was cut off a vehicle. Saturday, July 17 12:54 a.m. — Wadsworth Road and Interstate 76, Wadsworth; while investigating a possible drunken driver, a car almost hit the deputy's vehicle head on. Jason Lamm, 43, Akron, charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired, with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08 percent and less than 0.17 percent. 3:49 p.m. — 6116 Speedway Drive, Westfield Township; a large quantity of narcotics was confiscated at Super 8 Motel Seville. One individual was arrested by a federal agency. All narcotics were turned over to that agency. 10:32 p.m. — 5700 block Mud Lake Road, Westfield Township; deputies were dispatched to a residence for an unresponsive male that may have overdosed. Deputies arrived and took life-saving measures until Westfield Fire and EMS arrived. The male was transported to Lodi Hospital for medical treatment.
