Brunswick police blotter for July 8, 2021

Brunswick police Saturday, June 26 10:23 p.m. — 3574 Center Road, Cleveland Clinic; officers responded to reports of disorderly conduct and made contact with Jordon Pleszko, North Royalton, who was shouting profanities at the staff. Pleszko was cited into Brunswick Mayor's Court for disorderly conduct. Wednesday, June 30 7:07 a.m. — 900 block Buttonwood Lane; while responding to reports of a trespasser, officers arrested Michael Heil, 706 Poplar Drive, for outstanding burglary and violation of protection order warrants. He was taken to Medina County Jail. 3:04 p.m. — 3351 Center Road, GetGo/Giant Eagle; a LEADS check on a license plate indicated that the owner had a warrant out of Parma for failure to appear on a traffic offense. Officers then took Kyle Palady of Cleveland into custody and took him to the Bob Evans on Bagley Road at I-71, where he was turned over to the Parma PD. Thursday, July 1 4:44 p.m. — 1300 block Cross Creek Drive; a Brunswick woman called police after she said someone attempted to file an unemployment claim using her information. Saturday, July 3 10:19 p.m. — 1321 Pearl Road, Donut Land; after observing fireworks being shot off behind the store, officers made contact with Amanda Rienerth, 1253 Cherry Lane, who was found to have discharged them and be in possession of additional fireworks. She was issued a summons into Brunswick Mayor's Court. Sunday, July 4 8:25 a.m. — Western Reserve Drive; after responding to reports of three subjects going through mailboxes, officers made contact with Jon Berry Jr., Brunswick, and two other individuals. They all denied going through the mailboxes and Berry was found to have a felony warrant out of Elyria for theft/misuse of credit cards. He was arrested and later turned over to Elyria police. 9:43 p.m. — 1400 block Jefferson Ave.; while responding to reports of fireworks, officers made contact with Joshua Lightner, 1453 Jefferson Ave. He had be advised earlier in the evening regarding the fireworks and was cited into Brunswick Mayor's Court. 10:27 p.m. — Pinewood and Applewood Drives; officers saw several individuals shooting off fireworks in the middle of the street on Pinewood Drive. They made contact with Jesus Vega Jr., 3846 Applewood Drive, who said the fireworks belonged to him. He was cited into Medina Municipal Court. Monday, July 5 1:19 a.m. — I-71 and Bagley Road, Middleburg Heights; the Brooklyn Heights Police Department contacted Brunswick police saying it had David Gugala, North Ridgeville, in their custody. Gugala had multiple warrants out of Brunswick including assault and resisting arrest. He was taken to the Medina County Sheriff's Office.
