Medina police Saturday, May 29 8:23 p.m. — 5100 block Wedgewood Road; male arrested on warrants. Sunday, May 30 1:15 p.m. — 500 block E. Smith Road; male arrested for OVI. 1:32 p.m. — 1090 N. Court St.; debit card left in Key Bank's ATM. It was gone upon return. 3:02 p.m. — 1000 block N. Court St.; driver arrested on warrant and transported to Medina County Jail. 6:29 p.m. — 975 N. Court St.; driver cited with speeding and squealing his tires. 10:30 p.m. — W. Liberty and Prospect streets; driver cited with having just one headlight, not having a valid driver's license and and drug abuse. Medina Township police Sunday, May 16 6 p.m. — 4914 Grande Blvd.; vehicle stopped for display of plates. Vehicle was suspected of stealing from Home Depot. Multiple items from Home Depot were located inside the vehicle. A male admitted the items were stolen. All parties were issued summonses for theft. A male was taken to county jail on an outstanding warrant. 8:13 p.m. — 2900 block Pearl Road; homeowner heard a male screaming in his driveway. Upon arrival, intoxicated male was found on the ground with injuries to his eye and head. He was transported to Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital for treatment. Monday, May 17 2 a.m. — Interstate 71; traffic stop was attempted to be made for speeding. Driver failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated. Vehicle crashed and the driver and passenger fled on foot. Both were located a short time later and taken to county jail. The vehicle was stolen out of Columbus and drug paraphernalia was found in the vehicle. Tuesday, May 18 11:06 p.m. — 3122 Eastpointe Drive; complaint made for intoxicated person who left Motel 6. He was stopped on Eastpointe Drive without his headlights on, but wasn't intoxicated. The male did not have a valid driver's license and had an open bottle of alcohol in the back seat. He was cited for open container in a motor vehicle, no operator's license and not having his lights on. Thursday, May 20 12:11 p.m. — 5021 Eastpointe Drive; two males were involved in an altercation, where one male brandished a knife. After investigating, one male was summonsed for disorderly conduct and inciting violence. The other male was summonsed for aggravated menacing. Friday, May 21 7:13 p.m. — 3600 block Medina Road; male said he was experiencing suicidal thoughts. There was an odor of marijuana detected in the vehicle. Driver showed officers a marijuana card. Upon search of the vehicle, a baggie containing mushroom-like substance was found. Evidence was sent to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation. 11:51 p.m. — Windfall Road; vehicle stopped for no license plate light. The driver was found to have a suspended driver's license. He was issued a citation for driving under suspension and no license plate light. Saturday, May 22 12:52 a.m. — 3131 Medina Road; vehicle stopped for driver, who had a suspended driver's license. An odor of marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia found in the vehicle. The driver was issued citations for driving under suspension, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. The passenger was issued a citation for possession of marijuana. 2:37 p.m. — 4300 block Great Smokey Circle; juvenile male arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Medina County Detention Center. 3:42 p.m. — 5000 block Gateway Drive; a DeWalt electric saw, valued at $3,500 to $5,500, was reported stolen from a trailer. 10:53 p.m. — I-71; officers responded to a three-car crash with injuries. One vehicle involved in the crash left the scene. A license plate for the vehicle was obtained. Investigation is pending. Montville Township police Sunday, May 23 9:50 p.m. — 2700 block Medina Road; party of 30 or 40 people left restaurant without paying bill. The vehicle was stopped and bill was paid. Tuesday, May 25 1:21 p.m. — 3100 block Medina Road; male driver stopped for marked lanes and hitting another vehicle. Investigation found him to be under the influence of drugs. Meth and various drug abuse instruments found in vehicle. Driver arrested for OVI and drug trafficking. His blood-alcohol content was 0.17 percent. He was also cited with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. 9:16 p.m. — River Styx and Fixler roads; driver stopped for marked lanes violation. Driver said she had been drinking and an open container of alcohol was in the center console. Driver was charged with open container, failure to stay in marked lanes and operating a vehicle while impaired. Vehicle was towed by Action Towing. Thursday, May 27 11 p.m. — Medina Road and Village Gate; driver stopped for not having headlights on. Driver cited with three counts of driving under suspension and marijuana possession. She was given a summons for improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle, and a verbal warning for headlight violation.
