Wadsworth police Saturday, May 22 1:35 a.m. — 265 State St.; officers located a subject trying to enter a residence while responding to a nearby business alarm. The subject was arrested and charges are pending investigation. 1:52 a.m. — 350 State St.; officers responded to a business alarm and took a burglary suspect into custody. Charges are pending investigation. 4:10 p.m. — 128 N. Avon Ave.; Kenneth Bellomy, 49, Wadsworth, was cited with open burn following a brush fire complaint. 7:52 p.m. — 222 E. Smokerise Dr.; David Besozzi, 48, Barberton, was issued a summons for theft after allegedly shoplifting from Walmart. 11:41 p.m. — Broad Street; Turner Tesmer, 19, Wadsworth, was issued a summons for underage possession of alcohol during a traffic stop. Sunday, May 23 4:58 p.m. — 222 E. Smokerise Drive; Rhonda Simonton, 65, Rittman, was cited with theft after allegedly shoplifting from Walmart. Monday, May 24 9:57 a.m. — 1155 High St.; Kevin L. Hull, 39, Barberton, was cited with possession of drug paraphernalia following investigation of a vehicle parked at Home Depot. 7:15 p.m. — 222 E. Smokerise Drive; Dylan A. Case, 18, Doylestown, and Jaret R. Rosser, 18, Medina, were cited with disorderly conduct following a reported disturbance. Tuesday, May 25 4:03 p.m. — 120 Maple St.; a warrant for Christopher J. Rose was issued by Wadsworth Municipal Court for failure to appear for a status hearing on an obstructing official business charge. 10 p.m. — E. Smokerise Drive; Scott Mckahan, 37, Akron, was arrested on charges of OVI, driving under suspension, and failure to control. He was reportedly found by officers unconscious in a running vehicle after an apparent overdose before being administered Narcan. Wednesday, May 26 10:30 a.m. — 139 Beck St.; a man in a motor vehicle was found to be deceased due to an overdose. An investigation is ongoing. 3:45 p.m. — 120 Maple St.; a warrant for Angela Lagray was issued by Wadsworth Municipal Court for failure to appear for a change of plea hearing on a theft charge. 11:48 p.m. — 1183 Williams Reserve Blvd.; Kristen L. Nott, 28, Wadsworth, was issued a summons for cruelty to animals after a report of dogs being left in a car for a long period. Lodi police Thursday, May 20 10:28 a.m. — Oak Court; a resident reported their brake line being cut upon taking it to a mechanic. An investigation is ongoing. 5:05 p.m. — Medina Street; dogs were removed from a hot car following a resident making a report. The vehicle owner was given back the dogs and an investigation is ongoing. Friday, May 21 1:16 p.m. — Janice Street; officers determined tools were stolen during a garage break-in some time over the past week. The matter is under investigation. 3:20 p.m. — Highland Drive; a 14-year-old was taken into custody after reportedly injuring their mother. Saturday, May 22 7:47 p.m. — Oakwood Drive; Mallory Bugh, 34, Canton, was cited with marijuana possession and driving under suspension following a traffic stop.
