Sheriff's reports Friday, April 16 1:16 p.m. — 555 Independence Drive; inmate Joseph Johnson, 26, Akron, and Brett Poindexter, 31, Massillon, got in an altercation at Medina County Jail. Friday, April 23 4:59 p.m. — 10020 Avon Lake Road, Harrisville Township; suspect wouldn't leave Burbank McDonald's lobby at closing. She had warrants and was arrested and taken to Medina County Jail. Samantha Smith, 20, Pahrump, Nevada, charged with theft after items were found to be stolen from the Lodi Outlet Mall. The items were returned. 5:49 p.m. — 5100 Ridge Road, Granger Township; male charged with stealing beer from Sheetz Gas Station. A warrant for theft issued for Danny Jo Warnick, 61, Akron. 6:06 p.m. — 7900 Wooster Pike, Guilford Township; a resident reported a trailer had been stolen. Saturday, April 24 3:19 p.m. — 1300 block Medina Line Road, Sharon Township; a male overdosed on drug and was transported to the hospital. He was provided a prosecutor's immunity letter. All contraband was confiscated from the scene. Friday, April 30 11:28 a.m. — 6400 block Kennard Road, Westfield Township; a resident reported a package was stolen out of his mailbox. 2:19 p.m. — 8800 block Lake Road, Westfield Township; driver hit a parked car. Jeanette Rhyner, 78, 70 block Willowwood Drive, Chippewa Lake, charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired, with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.17 percent. Sunday, May 2 2:22 p.m. — 90 block W. River Road, Liverpool Township; resident reported someone damaged his property. Tuesday, May 4 3:31 p.m. – 5200 block Greenwich Road, Guilford Township; Jacob Freeze, 26, Millersburg, charged with criminal trespass at Seville Mobile Home Park. Mariah Grumbling, 23, Mansfield, was arrested on a warrant and charged with possession of methamphetamine, and Sheryl Tucker, 30, 500 block S. Court St., Medina, charged with criminal trespass. 7:21 p.m. – 10000 block Rischel Road, Wadsworth Township; man had money taken out of his bank account. The family suspects it was a niece. However, the family didn't wish to bring charges against her. Thursday, May 6 9:18 p.m. — 80 block Big Injun Trail, Chippewa Lake; Tracy English, 59, 5800 block Elm St., Chippewa Lake, charged with assaulting a Lyft driver in Harrisville Township. Saturday, May 8 1:14 p.m. — 555 Independence Drive, Medina; Samantha Smith, 28, Akron, charged with bringing drug paraphernalia into Medina County Jail. Sunday, May 9 8:23 a.m. — 8700 block Norwalk Road, Litchfield Township; man overdosed on opiates, given naloxone and taken to the hospital. 10:53 a.m. — 2300 block Blake Road, Wadsworth Township; Danielle Runk, 37, same address, charged with domestic violence for hitting mother with a stick with nails in it.
