Medina police Saturday, May 8 4:06 p.m. — 1000 block Old Farm Trail; camera reported stolen from an estate. 6:02 p.m. — 200 block Abbeyville Road; threats reportedly made toward juvenile male. 8:12 p.m. — 900 block Waterloo Lane; female said she fell victim to a computer scam. 11:23 p.m. — 1000 E. Washington St.; vehicle pulled over for not having tail lights. Driver was cited with having an open container of alcohol. Sunday, May 9 12:13 a.m. — 7000 block Lake Road; male and female issued summons for criminal trespass. 9:13 p.m. — N. Huntington St. and Highland Drive; male arrested on a warrant. Medina Township police Sunday, April 25 8:49 p.m. — Hamilton and Hamlin roads; a vehicle was stopped for a marked lanes violation. The smell of marijuana emitted from coming from the vehicle. The driver said he was suspended. Officers searched the car and found a pistol in the center console and seven bags of marijuana. The driver was found to be a convicted felon and was arrested and transported to Medina County Jail. The female passenger was issued a summons for marijuana. Tuesday, April 27 5:21 p.m. — 4300 block Hamilton Road; resident reported his identity had been stolen. Wednesday, April 28 10:23 a.m. — 5000 block Crimson King Court; a contractor was fired for inferior work and a lawsuit was filed. The day the crew was terminated, one of its workers went through a jewelry box that belonged to resident's deceased husband and photographed his signature. No charges have been filed. Thursday, April 29 1:55 p.m. — 4900 block Grande Blvd.; report taken for a private property accident. While investigating, it was found that the driver of one of the vehicles only had a temporary driving permit. A citation was issued for no operators license and license restrictions. Friday, April 30 7:04 p.m. — 3122 Eastpointe Drive; female asked police to remove her boyfriend from her room at Motel 6. She said she had been abused and visible marks were noticed on her neck. Male was arrested for domestic violence and transported to Medina County Jail. Saturday, May 1 3:25 a.m. — 3122 Eastpointe Drive; mother attempted to retrieve her vehicle from Motel 6 after her son was arrested for domestic violence. She could not locate the vehicle and her son refused to talk to his mother. The vehicle was later located at Hampton Inn. Mother took possession of her vehicle. 9:28 a.m. — Interstate 71; someone broke a passenger side window and stole tools from vehicle. 9:32 p.m. — 5161 Montville Drive; fight reported at Super 8 motel involving six intoxicated males on the second floor. One male was transported to Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital due to the fight and his extreme level of intoxication. Hotel manager said the men could stay the rest of the night as long as they departed in the morning. No charges were levied in the incident.
