Sheriff's reports Tuesday, March 9 8:37 a.m. — Lake Road, state Route 224, Westfield Township; driver was pulled over for speeding. Michael Phillips, 23, 300 block Elyria St., Lodi, charged with speeding and operating a vehicle without a valid license. A firearm was found under his seat and drugs were found in the car. Friday, March 12 12:34 a.m. — Interstate 76 and Center St., Seville; after a traffic stop, passenger Levander Anderson, 34, Akron, charged with open container of alcohol, having weapons under disability and possession of drugs. Joy Greene, 36, Akron, cited for speeding and possession of drugs. Wednesday, March 17 10:25 a.m. — 3800 block Zenith Lane, Litchfield Township; someone opened an account with Fingerhut using resident's information. 2:57 p.m. — 10000 block Red Rose Drive, Wadsworth Township; someone used a resident's credit card for a total of $118.61 at Panera Bread in Fairfax, Virginia. 7:16 p.m. — Medina and Ridge roads, Granger Township; Alexander Eggleston, 25, 500 block Court St., Medina, charged with possession of marijuana and improper turn. Le'Trel Taylor, 27, 900 block Wadsworth Road, Medina, charged with possession of marijuana and having an open container of alcohol. Thursday, March 18 2:39 p.m. — 400 block Blake Road, Guilford Township; resident paid contractor $9,950 for a new roof. He never returned to do the work. Saturday, March 20 9:30 a.m. — 8834 Lake Road, Westfield Township; several items reported stolen from TSA gas station. Monday, March 22 2:41 p.m. —1500 block Remsen Road, Granger Township; an AC unit was reported stolen from house. 2:41 p.m. —3100 block Sharon Court, York Township; tools were reported stolen from a construction site. Tuesday, March 23 2:16 a.m. — 555 Independence Drive, Medina; 28-year-old male inmate admitted to swallowing a small amount of marijuana before being booked into Medina County Jail. Thursday, March 25 1:59 p.m. — 300 block Medina Road, Sharon Township; someone drove up to resident's mailbox and stole their mail. Sunday, March 28 1:33 a.m. — W. River Road, Bridlewood Lane, Liverpool Township; Klara Hitchcock, 41, Athens, charged with failure to stay in marked lanes and operating a motor vehicle while impaired.
