Monday, Feb. 1 2:59 p.m. — 400 block Reimer Road, Wadsworth Township; resident reported she fell victim to a scam and was out several hundred dollars. Monday, Feb. 8 10:16 a.m. — 10000 block Wooster Pike, Westfield Township; business owner contacted by a person who said he was from Ohio Edison. His overdue account was going to be disconnected. He used prepaid gift cards in the amount of $432 to make his account current. Thursday, Feb. 11 4:53 p.m. — 3700 block Good Road, Guilford Township; report made for unemployment fraud. Friday, Feb. 12 10:17 a.m. — 1500 block Beacon Hill Drive, Sharon Township; report made for unemployment fraud. Wednesday, Feb. 17 5:37 a.m. — 3100 block Frantz Road, Medina Township; drug recognition expert requested from sheriff's office to check on female that had been arrested for OVI. Report will be forwarded to State Highway Patrol. 12:15 p.m. — 555 Independence Drive; a male subject brought into booking at the Medina County Jail was in possession of a large knife. 1:54 p.m. — 3500 block Yost Road, Litchfield Township; report made for unemployment fraud. Thursday, Feb. 18 10:15 a.m. — 9100 block Shank Road, Litchfield Township; report made for unemployment fraud. Friday, Feb. 19 11:38 a.m. — 3000 block Seven Bridges Road, York Township; report made for unemployment fraud. Sunday, Feb. 21 7:28 a.m. — 5200 block Greenwich Road, Guilford Township; resident reported two tires had been slashed on his vehicle. 3:59 p.m. — 2600 block Seville Road, Wadsworth Township; Joelene Billings, 43, same address, arrested for domestic violence. Monday, Feb. 22 2:14 p.m. — 6400 block Deer Hollow Drive, Liverpool Township; resident's credit card had been used fraudulently in Kentucky. 5:22 p.m. — Westfield and Mud Lake roads, Westfield Township; after a traffic stop, Nichole Hutchison, 25, Wooster, charged with possession of marijuana. Wednesday, Feb. 24 8:45 a.m. — 300 block Dawnshire Drive, Gloria Glens Village, multiple charges on resident's debit card that he did not make. He's been reimbursed most of the money. 2:15 p.m. — 8700 block River Corners Road, Homer Township; report made for unemployment fraud. Thursday, Feb. 25 3:32 p.m. — 5900 block Moorhouse Drive, Sharon Township; someone used resident's information to open a Spectrum account in New York. Sunday, Feb. 28 5:16 p.m. — 1400 bloc Eastern Road, Wadsworth Township; meth user was transported to Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital for further evaluation. Tuesday, March 2 7:09 a.m. — 8700 block Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth Township; someone entered a resident's property and removed a hydraulic pump from a plow truck. 6:05 p.m. — Interstate 76, Guilford Township; Veronica Ratajczak, 25, Barberton, charged with driving under suspension and speeding, and her vehicle was towed. 8:16 p.m. — Smith Road and Kapok Drive, Medina; a deputy saw a vehicle run a stop sign. Albert McCarty, 51, Wellington, charged with OVI, with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08 percent, and cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. Wednesday, March 3 3:01 p.m. — 555 Independence Drive, Medina; inmate tried to kill himself. 10:39 p.m. — Norwalk and Beat roads, Litchfield Township; vehicle was parked in the middle of the road. Amanda Horvath, 40, 10000 block Jones Road, Litchfield, arrested for OVI, with a blood-alcohol content of 0.17 percent. Friday, March 5 2:10 a.m. — 555 Independence Drive, Medina; a pipe was found on an inmate during a pat down. 10:01 p.m. — 555 Independence Drive, Medina; EMS was called for male inmate for possible drug overdose prior to being accepted into Medina County Jail. Saturday, March 6 3:07 a.m. — Interstate 71, Westfield Township; Angel Delgado, 23, Norwich, Connecticut, charged with possession of marijuana. He was also cited for speeding. Tuesday, March 9 3:01 p.m. — 2900 block Ridge Road, Granger Township; a semi-truck turned around and hit a telephone poll, breaking it in half, and hit a large rock. The truck left the scene prior to deputies' arrival.
