Rex Allen Jackenheimer

Rex Allen Jackenheimer, 78, passed away peacefully in his home Saturday, February 27, 2021 in Medina. He was born June 12, 1942 to the late Robert G. and Dorothy M. (Cameron) Jackenheimer in Ashland, Ohio. Throughout his life, Rex worked in the Industrial Plastics industry. He was a devout and faithful Christian who loved to volunteer with his churches. He served as a Deacon at Liberty Baptist Church and a Visiting Chaplain at Lighthouse Baptist Church. He had a huge heart and always gave of himself. Rex was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend who loved his faith and his family equally. Rex is survived by his son, Russell Jackenheimer; granddaughter, Kimberlee Jackenheimer; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Peyton and Grayson; sisters, Patricia Campbell and Elaine Jackenheimer-Gilbert and a lifetime of collected friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara (Goon) Jackenheimer, to whom he was married 43 years.; as well as his parents.
