Wadsworth police Sunday, Jan. 31 9:40 a.m. — 1671 State Road; a report of criminal damaging was made with no known suspects at this time. Monday, Feb. 1 10:25 a.m. — 149 Highgate Drive; officers took a report regarding a fraudulent unemployment claim. 10:58 a.m. — 131 Wadsworth Road; a complaint was made regarding littering from a city business. The incident is under investigation. 4:37 p.m. — 222 E. Smokerise Drive; Jennifer Stahurski, 48, was issued a summons for theft after allegedly shoplifting from Walmart. 5:17 p.m. — 128 Ohio Ave.; officers took a report of theft that is now under investigation. Tuesday, Feb. 2 11:46 a.m. — 309 Wadsworth Road.; officers took a report of telecommunications harassment that is now being investigated. Wednesday, Feb. 3 3:13 p.m. — 591 Woodland Ave.; a resident reported being the victim of an unemployment scam. Medina County Job and Family Services was notified of the case. 10:50 p.m. — 441 Leatherman Road; Autumn R. Whitlatch, 22, Barberton, was issued a citation for marijuana possession following investigation of a parked vehicle after hours at Freidt Park. Thursday, Feb. 4 5:16 p.m. — 1051 High St.; Julia A. Starr, 69, of Wadsworth, was arrested for OVI following a report of an impaired driver at Circle K. Friday, Feb. 5 8:06 a.m. — 454 Oakwood Ave.; a resident reported an incident of telecommunications fraud.
