William 'Billy' Patrick Knapp

William 'Billy' Patrick Knapp, 82, of Wellington, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021. Billy was born June 13, 1938, in Lawn, West Virginia, to the late Woodrow and Lois (nee Blankenship) Knapp. Billy graduated from Smoot High School in Smoot, West Virginia, later moving to the Cleveland area to find employment. He eventually retired from Ford Motor Company in Brook Park. During this time, he met his first wife, Evelyn (deceased) and had four children, Terri (Marco) Iannetta, Beth (Grant) Comnick, Bill (Amy Clough) and John (Holly). He has been blessed with 10 grandchildren, Nick and Greg Iannetta, Ian, Tessa, Isaiah and Elyse Comnick, Joe, Ashley (Adam Kilgore), Marshall and Brendan Knapp; also having one great-granddaughter, Aubree Kilgore. Billy went on to marry Sue Rishaw (deceased); having a stepdaughter, Lisa Booth. Billy was the oldest of seven children, Nellie Donahoe (deceased), Merlin (deceased) Nancy, Tim (deceased) Galena, Mary (Homer) Bryant, Alice (Pete, deceased) Holland and Brenda (Gene) Campbell and will be lovingly remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Billy owned and enjoyed horses during the past 50 years, when he was buying, trading, or selling. He enjoyed good ol' Country Western music, Westerns, cowboy boots and the Knapp Family annual reunion and moonshine! Private services will be held at Waite & Son Funeral Home in Brunswick.
