John F. Nash

John F. Nash, 93, of Spencer, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at his home following a period of declining health. He was born in Spencer on February 23, 1927 to the late William and Avis (Jamison) Nash. John attended Homerville and Spencer Schools and later joined his father in the operation of Nash's Auto Wrecking in Spencer. He eventually took over the ownership after his father's passing and continued until selling the business in 1994. John was a U.S. Army Veteran and had served on the Rural Lorain County Water Authority and was a former Spencer Township trustee. He is survived by his wife, Monda (nee Farnsworth), to whom he married on February 23, 1957; brother, Paul Nash of Florida and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Winland and brothers, Don and Grant Nash. A graveside service will be held later this year at Spencer Cemetery.
