Barbara I. Harris

Barbara I. Harris, 84, of Medina, passed peacefully Wednesday, January 6, 2021. She was born March 21, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the youngest of nine children. She moved to Medina in 1967 and owned and operated gift shops including Li'l General and High's Jeweler Store on the square. Barbara donated the historic High's clock on the square to the City of Medina when she closed the business. She later worked at K-Mart in customer service until her retirement in 2009. Barbara is survived by her children, Tyrus (Ann) Parker of Copley, Ohio, Phyllis (Todd) Carstensen of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Tyrus (Pam) Parker, Abbey (Adam) Mahoney, Jon Carstensen and Dan Carstensen and three great-grandchildren. Barbara loved to be outdoors and was an avid gardener. Most of all she loved her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert L. Harris and James R.
