Melinda Frances Warner (Harris)

September 27, 1978 - August 3, 2020On Monday, August 3, 2020, Melinda passed away in her sleep unexpectedly. She was born in Parma and was raised in Brunswick.She graduated from Brunswick High School Class of 1997. During her youth, she was in cheerleading, basketball, track and girl scouts from elementary all through to high school. She always believed in standing up for people that were being picked on and always took care of the underdog.Her life was taking on a new dimension as she had become a believer in Jesus Christ and was working to make changes in her life! One way she expressed that was her willingness to share with anyone who had a need. She had a very caring heart. The last five years she's been feeding the homeless, providing them with clothing and toiletries. She was a current resident of Ravenna, Ohio. She was a regular attender of Grace Baptist Church in Kent, Ohio.She will join her father, James Harris, Sr. in Heaven, who passed away two years ago.Among those she leaves behind is her husband, Jonathan Warner; her mother and best friend, Audrey Harris; brothers, David Harris (Christina), James Harris, Jr. and Doyel Harris; sisters, Sharon Harris and Tiffany Harris Lopez, as well as two nephews, Carlos and Elijah whom she dearly loved.She was laid to rest at the Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
