Gordon K. "Shorty" Stallings

Gordon K. "Shorty" Stallings, 71, of Lafayette, passed away Monday, May 25, 2020, due to injuries from a motorcycle accident. He was born October 22, 1948, in Cleveland, to the late Ernest and Jennie (Cox) Stallings.Shorty worked as a truck driver and maintenance man for Medina Supply for over 47 years, retiring in 2011. He proudly served our country in the United States Army during Vietnam.He was a member of Lafayette Methodist Church in Medina and enjoyed spending his time riding his motorcycle, farming, hunting and being with his family. He will be truly missed.He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen (Phillips) Stallings; sons, Josh (Melanie) Stallings and Nate (Teri) Stallings, both of Lafayette; six grandchildren, Cory, Brody, Hunter, Zoe, Rose and Gwen; brother, David (Patty) Stallings, of Lafayette and sister-in-law, Gail Phillips.The family will have a burial with full Military Honors for Gordon at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery Monday, July 20, 2020, at 1 p.m. Please remember to wear your mask due to COVID.To leave online condolences, please visit www.waitefuneralhome.com
