Wadsworth police Monday, July 6 12:13 a.m. — 132 Broad St.; Joann Vance, 45, of Seville, was arrested and charged with OVI, hit skip on city streets, failure to control, and driving without a licensed driver. Vance reportedly crashed her vehicle after striking a light pole, fire hydrant, and several other cars. Additional charges are pending lab analysis. 9:57 a.m. — 120 Maple St.; Kevin T. Srock, 34, of Wadsworth, was arrested on a Medina County Sheriff's Office warrant for probation violation. 3:27 p.m. — 120 Maple St.; a warrant for Brett Milburn was issued by the Wadsworth Municipal Court for failure to appear for arraignment on a theft charge. 3:39 p.m. — 120 Maple St.; a warrant for Christopher Taylor was issued by the Wadsworth Municipal Court for failure to appear for a change of plea hearing on a charge of receiving stolen property. Tuesday, July 7 11:22 a.m. — 5 Park Center Blvd.; theft and vandalism was reported at Comfort Inn. The matter is being investigated. 4:18 p.m. — 951 High St.; a male was found to be in possession of suspected felony drugs outside GetGo. Charges are pending lab analysis. Wednesday, July 8 3:40 p.m. — 120 Maple St.; a warrant for Scott A. Harmon was issued by the Wadsworth Municipal Court for failure to appear for sentencing on a theft charge. 4:23 p.m. — College Street; a man was found to be in possession of suspected felony drugs following a traffic stop. Charges are pending lab analysis. 7:47 p.m. — High Street; Dean M. Mastro, 51, of Wadsworth, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop. A passenger in the vehicle, Bradley R. Nixon, 36, of Norton, was arrested on a felony probation violation warrant out of the Medina County Sheriff's Office. Thursday, July 9 10:21 a.m. — 452 Woodlawn Ave.; Melissa Paintiff, 43, of Wadsworth, was cited with disorderly conduct following a reported domestic dispute. 5:37 p.m. — 650 Broad St.; Thomas A. Wilkinson Jr., 42, of Rittman, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of Wayne County and charged with driving under suspension, fictitious plates and receiving stolen property following a traffic stop. A passenger in the vehicle was found to be in possession of suspected narcotics, and charges are pending further investigation. Friday, July 10 8:27 a.m. — 120 Maple St.; a warrant for Richard Koeth was issued by the Wadsworth Municipal Court for failure to appear for a status conference on a charge of driving under OVI suspension. 8:37 a.m. — 120 Maple St.; a warrant for Jordan Garrard was issued by the Wadsworth Municipal Court for failure to appear on a driving under suspension charge. 12:27 p.m. — 488 Meadow Dr.; a resident reported a case of identity fraud involving a collections bill for an out-of-state cellphone purchase made in 2018. 10:03 p.m. — 190 Main St.; a 69-year-old male resident was found to have died of natural causes following a welfare check at Wadsworth Towers apartments. Saturday, July 11 3:40 p.m. — 175 Great Oaks Trail; Dorsey Webb, 54, of Wadsworth, was arrested and charged with OVI, OVI-refusal, driving under a physical control suspension, and driving under a non-compliance suspension following investigation of a suspicious parked vehicle. Sunday, July 12 6:18 a.m. — 810 High St.; Don M. Peters, 44, of Akron, was arrested on possession of drug-abuse instruments following a reported disturbance. 12:08 p.m. — John Green, 56, of Barberton, was issued a summons for theft after officers reportedly found him in possession of $597 worth of stolen Home Depot merchandise. Green was also arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of Beachwood. 10:14 p.m. — 509 State St.; Robert Rock, 52, of Wadsworth, was arrested and charged with OVI and failure to control following a one-vehicle crash. Monday, July 13 7:33 p.m. — 1183 Williams Reserve Blvd.; Melissa Paintiff, 43, of Wadsworth, was cited with disorderly conduct following a reported incident at Target. Tuesday, July 14 11:48 a.m. — 222 East Smokerise Drive.; Joseph G. Cook, 30, of Seville, was arrested on a probation violation warrant out of Wayne County. 12:03 p.m. — 810 High St.; an adult was reported missing from Legacy Inn. 3:31 p.m. — 120 Maple St.; a warrant for Heather Anderson was issued by the Wadsworth Municipal Court for failure to appear for arraignment on theft charges. 4:44 p.m. — 120 Maple St.; a warrant for Robert Bachtel was issued by the Wadsworth Municipal Court for failure to appear for arraignment on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. 4:46 p.m. — 120 Maple St.; a warrant for Douglas Holton was issued by the Wadsworth Municipal Court for failure to appear for arraignment. Wednesday, July 15 3:35 a.m. — Josiah E. Baird, 34, of Wadsworth, was cited with disorderly conduct following a reported argument. Rittman police Monday, July 6 10 a.m. — Frederick Street; Casee Gibson, 32, was arrested on a failure to compel child to school warrant out of Wayne County. 10 a.m. — officers spoke to a man who was making suicidal threats and offered him information on rehabilitation services. Tuesday, July 7 3 p.m. — Ohio Avenue; Michael Leach, 36, of Rittman, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of Wayne County following a traffic stop. 9 p.m. — McElwee Court; Robert Bachtel, 45, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of Wayne County. 9:30 p.m. — N. Main Street; Tommy Collins, 33, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of Wayne County. 11 p.m. — Main Street; Rebecca Senz, 35, of Lodi, was arrested on a Wayne County warrant following a traffic stop. Thursday, July 9 9 a.m. — Main Street; a juvenile was located after reportedly running away from home and making comments about self-harm. Officers transported her to the hospital for a mental health evaluation. Friday, July 10 5 p.m. — N. Main Street; a business owner reported having video evidence of a theft. The matter is under investigation. Saturday, July 11 1 p.m. — Home Street; Jeffrey Workman, 40, was arrested on outstanding warrants out of Medina and Summit counties. Workman initially fled officers but was later found at a nearby gas station. Saturday, July 11 10 p.m. — Diane Street; Matthew Cavender, 32, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.
