Rittman, Lodi police blotter for May 18-24, 2020

Rittman police Monday, May 18 5:30 p.m. — Bellevue Street; a resident reported that an unknown person had stolen a firearm from her unlocked vehicle. The victim was not sure when the theft occurred. The 9mm pistol is value at $200 and there are no suspects at this time. Wednesday, May 20 9 p.m. — South Main Street; a 57-year-old Rittman woman was charged with OVI after being found asleep in a parked vehicle. Thursday, May 21 11:30 a.m. — Fairlawn Avenue; a resident reported damage done to her front door by an unknown person. Officers discovered a cracked door frame and busted screen. The matter is under investigation. 10:20 p.m. — Sunset Drive; a 53-year-old man reportedly overdosed but was revived by EMS personnel. The man refused further treatment and charges are pending. 10:30 p.m. — Main Street; a dispute between a man and his ex-girlfriend resulted in no charges. A no trespassing order is on file against the woman, who left the area before officers arrived. Friday, May 22 1:30 p.m. — Home Street; warning were issued to both parties involved in a domestic dispute. 2:30 p.m. — South Main Street; a 31-year-old woman was taken for a mental health evaluation after reportedly threatening to kill people, including her landlord. Charges for aggravated menacing are pending. 6 p.m. — a domestic dispute resulted in one warning for disorderly conduct. 11:30 p.m. — Windsor Mews; a woman reported that the father of her child threatened to kill her. The suspect left the scene before officers arrived but officers later reached him by phone. The man denied the accusation and the woman declined to press charges. Saturday, May 23 10 a.m. — State Street; a resident reported that his 29-year-old daughter was yelling and beating on his door. Officers determined the dispute involved alcohol and the daughter was taken for a physical evaluation. No charges were filed. Sunday, May 24 12:30 a.m. — Nautilus Lane; a large party with reported underage drinking resulted in charges for roughly six juveniles and at least one adult for hosting. Lodi police Monday, May 18 9:21 a.m. — Bank Street; a resident reported receiving threatening emails. The matter is under investigation. Wednesday, May 20 6:27 p.m. — Interstate 71; a K-9 unit assisted the State Highway Patrol with a traffic stop. 7:49 p.m. — Elyria Street; Bryan Ave, 30, of Litchfield, was charged with possession of marijuana and Jonathan Wenner, 28, was charged with receiving stolen property following a traffic stop. A wallet that had been reported stolen to the Medina County Sheriff's Department was located during the stop. Further charges are pending. Thursday, May 21 1:04 p.m. — Elyria Street; a resident reported that a license plate had been removed from their car. The plate was entered into state records as missing or stolen.
