Shirley A Scott

Shirley A. Scott passed away peacefully surrounded by family Friday, October 18, 2019. She resided in Brunswick and raised her five children there before moving to Medina, where she lived for the last 26 years.Shirley loved being with her family and spending time with her 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Most of all, she loved beating Kenny at Yahtzee!She is survived by her loving husband, Ken Scott of 56 years and her brother, Nick Loeber; in addition to her husband and brother, Shirley is survived by her five children, Carl Scott, Debbie Brown, Kim Zeleny (Jim), Ken Scott, Jr. (Lisa) and Tina Repp (John).Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Florence and George Loeber; mother and father-in-law, Eleanor and Allen Scott, Sr.; her sister-in-law, Doris Loeber; brother-in-law, Leroy Loveday, Sr. and nephew, Leroy Loveday, Jr.A viewing will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. A graveside service will be held Friday, October 25, 2019 at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick at 11 a.m. Following the graveside service, a gathering of family and friends will be held at the Eagles Lodge, 696 Lafayette Road, Medina.In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the Medina County SPCA.Online condolences may be left at waitefuneralhome.com
